Propel Nuts- Also called Propeller Nuts, these are steel nuts with a female thread and deep skives on the outside of the barrel with a zinc plated finish to provide excellent retention to fasten to a component made of wood, particleboard, pressboard, and plastic. They are better than using T-Nuts to install adjustable glides and will not split wood like T-Nuts can. These are also popular in hard plastic applications. We stock in 1/4-20 thread with 8-32, 10-24, 10-32, 5/16-18, 3/8-16, 1/2-23 and 5/8-11 also available.These are also available made of stainless steel.
