T-Nuts – Our steel T- Nuts with a female thread and prongs typically have a zinc plated finish to fasten to a component made of wood, particleboard, and press board. Used to install adjustable glides and assemble components together. We stock in 10-24, 1/4-20, 5/16-18, 3/8-16, and 1/2-13 threads. 4-40, 6-32, 8-32, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10 threads are also available. We stock 3 prong, 4 prong, and 6 prong T-Nuts with varying barrel lengths. 3 prong T-Nuts are typically used in hard wood to minimize splitting. The most popular 4 prong T-Nuts are typically used in soft and hard woods. 6 prong T-Nuts are typically used in soft woods and offer the best retention. Stainless steel T-Nuts are also available. There are other T-nuts available with custom features of shorter prongs, small and large flanges, tapered barrel, locking, and hopper feed.
