Glide Base Snap on Caps – These plastic and felt base caps typically made of Nylon or LDPE and are used to ”snap on/over” Cushioned and Sierra style steel bases on glides to convert to the new base material. After the caps wear out they can be replaced without replacing the original glide. We stock natural nylon caps to fit over 7/8”, 15/16”, 1-1/16”, and 1.20” OD Cushioned Glide Bases and Felt Base caps to fit on 1-1/4” OD Domestic and 1-1/4” OD Import SierraGlide Bases. Accurately measure the base and inquire to make sure the correct Snap on Cap is selected. Other non-stock sizes are available.
