Tubing and Rod Caps and Tips – These are rubber and plastic parts that have a sidewall to press fit over the outside of a round, square and rectangular tube to fit on from 0.180” to 2” OD. The rubber tips, also called “Cane Tips” or “Crutch Tips”, are load bearing and are available with an optional steel washer installed to prevent cut through when used with steel tubing. The plastic caps and tips are typically made of Plastisol Vinyl or Polyethylene and are load bearing and non-load bearing depending upon the specific part and application.
