Steel Tube Closures

Steel tube closures are designed to close the end of a tube, typically giving it a finished look as an economic alternative to welding. They are typically a one-piece stamped steel part that press-fit inserts into the end of the tube. The retaining prongs come in standard style, which is bent straight prong, and turned up style, in which the edge of the end of the prong interferes with the inside of the tube wall for better holding power. They are available to fit in 1/2” to 2” OD (outside diameter) round, square and rectangular tubes.
